A Course in Miracles – Foundation For Inner Peace

This kind of innocuous book came to my attention in 2006 and it has handed through my hands several times since. I had formed no inclination to peruse it is contents for I had formed halted to believe in amazing things. In 2005, I was cursing God for leaving me. I was using all my energy to stave off the heck I descended into 12-15 years earlier by getting married to a male as un-Godly as anyone could be. Amazon Books a Course in Miracles

In 2007, while packing some books as donations for a book fair, my hand once again droped on “A Course in Miracles”. By this time, I had secured the divorce from my hubby but was still coping with the fallout. Since I grasped the reserve, I became very innovative and calm. What was it about this publication that invoked feelings I actually hadn’t experienced in a very long time? My own hand clung to the book refusing to put it down. Seeing that this was a signal that I ought to take a closer look, I made a glass of tea and lay in my favorite reading chair. With great interest, I focused on the blue hardcover and read “A Course in Amazing things, a foundation for internal peace. ” Wow. That was obviously a lovely bold statement but ok, I decided to chew. Taking a deep inhale, I pondered the most evident question: What IS USUALLY the foundation for interior peace? This book instantly opened an old injury and it had better have the response to recovery.

“A Course in Miracles” is truly that, a course. Written in 3 parts, this book is to not be taken gently and can not be read in a week or possibly a month. There is text, a workbook for students and a manual for professors. I had fashioned the sudden need to fling the reserve across the table because I was deeply and profoundly afraid. I intuitively understood that once We started out reading this reserve, I used to be going to have to change and was I ready for the journey ahead?

My favorite movie is “The Matrix”. The primary character Neo is searching for the answer to the matrix. This individual understands the matrix is available but he doesn’t really know what it is. The man with the answer, Morpheus, contacts Neo and offers the ability for truth by giving Neo a choice between taking a green pill or a red pill. Take the unknown pill and remain not aware or take the red pill and discover the answer to the matrix. Ahead of he reaches for his pill of choice, Morpheus cautions Neo that should he choose the red pill, he can never go back to lifespan he had been living.

“A Course in Miracles” is the red supplement. Do I read it and change everything I understand about the world and myself or do We take the blue supplement and make “A Training course in Miracles” book reasonable fodder?

As I choke down the red tablet, I flip to Class 1 of 365 in the workbook for students and promptly read, “Nothing I see in this room means anything”. Wow dear. Is it inside its final stages to take the green pill?
