Game Graphics:

This is a common belief that the best video games are based on the best graphics. While having great graphics, this factor alone is not going to make a great game when other factors are not up to standards that match the graphics. However, described this, it is good to say that when combined with other similarly important game design factors, great graphics can certainly provide a game an benefits over as well as with lower quality images. A few examples of this are definitely the graphics abundant worlds of such game titles as Halo, Myst, Burial place Raider, Ff, Star Battles, and this is merely a few of many game titles that could be considered to have great images. So it is safe to imagine one factor that is essential towards a good game, but that needs to be along with other equally important factors, id for the game to have great graphics.

This factor is also a very important game design factor as it covers the point of playing the game, the goal that is to be achieved and the possible relationships between elements of the game such as items or Non Playable Character types. While a game should have a decent gameplay and storyline, again this reality will not likely make a great game by itself. The moment mixed with great design however, these two factors will give a game an edge over a competition. Gameplay can be either a simple process or a very complicated process but still make a great game, as we can see when we compare the game ‘Tetris’ to the sport “Final Fantasy”. Both games were smash hits which may have so far remained in many peoples set of great game titles. Gameplay in itself has many facets that chip in towards the complete Gameplay factor, that we is not going to explore here, but to name a few, a game designer would consider such things as, Storyline, alternate choices, natural physics, player interaction, etc. So again, we can see that this factor alone will not necessarily make a great game but actually will definitely contribute towards a great game when along with other important game design factors.

Game Audio:

The sport Sound factor in game design is fairly much on par with Game Graphics. The standard of audio in a game can help determine a good game or not. Types of this can be found in some of the first classics, when we think about games like Zelda or maybe the ancient Atari game called Frogger. A large number of of us can think of an old game that individuals can still evidently remember the overall game music to, granted some were anooying, but most were different and addictive. Then approaching forward in game record we get to video games that rely heavily on the game sound experience, such as games like Silent Hill or Farrenheit. E. A. R. These kinds of games would not be practically as effective as they at the moment are if they happen to have lesser quality sound. Therefore again we see another important factor that needs to be added to a game to make it a great game.
